Beautiful waterfalls in the world, Geirangerfjord, Norway----Power of nature vs Human….via THE COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE

The two most famous waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are the Seven Sisters and the Suitor.

There are approximately 240 inhabitants in Geiranger and most of them are employed in tourism.

The village is surrounded by steep mountains on either side of the fjord, which has made it one of the most visited tourist destination with more than 700 000 visitors each year.

In Geiranger you can take a one and a half hour fjord cruise. A comfortable sightseeing boat takes you out on the fjord, bringing you close to the cascading waterfalls, towering mountains and the abandoned mountain farms.

The fjord is also host to several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are De Syv Søstre(the seven sisters) and Friaren (the suitor or 'the Wooer').

The two waterfalls face one another across the fjord, and the suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.

The Seven Sisters also known as Knivsflåfossen is the 39th tallest waterfall in Norway.

The waterfall consists of seven separate streams, and it is located along the Geirangerfjord in the municipality of Stranda in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway.

The waterfall is located just south of the historic Knivsflå farm, across the fjord from the old Skageflå farm. The falls are about 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) west of the village of Geiranger.

The tallest of the seven has a free fall that measures 250 metres (820 ft).

The legend of the seven sisters is that they dance playfully down the mountain, while a single waterfall opposite the seven sisters (known as the Courter, or Suitor, a male onlooker) flirts playfully from across the fjord.

"Awesome side view of this famous, foaming waterfall, as plunges into the fjord from the sharp peaks, of the steepest and most preposterous mountains on the entire west coast, wetting the pictorial small tour boat at the fall base.

The breathtaking view of the fjord, a UNESCO's World Heritage site, that hosts a few very impressive waterfalls, will be forever burned into your memory....."

Thanks so much my dear friend +Meir Kramer !!  :))
